We’re all set to celebrate National Apprenticeship Week 2026.
The Network’s achievements will be celebrated in style at the inspirational new Stoke-on-Trent & Staffordshire Institute of Technology campus in Stafford, this National Apprenticeship Week #NAW2026.
The West Midlands Apprenticeship Ambassador Network inspires people to take up apprenticeships, build skills, and shape careers in an ever-expanding number organisations across the West Midlands. On Thursday 12 February, we will be a getting together, celebrating our successes and looking forward to the challenges ahead.
Our Employer and Apprentice Ambassadors will be the stars of the show, and we’ll be recognising their contribution, strengthening relationships, and putting into Lights, Camera… ACTION our ideas to inspire, inform and grow apprenticeships in 2026.
We have an exciting, immersive, interactive day planned:
9am Arrival and breakfast
10am A look back at 2025
11am Time to shine at an interactive session
1pm Celebration lunch
2pm Roundtable session
3pm The grand finale
One of our Roundtable sessions will be hosted by Anthony Impey – Chair of the Apprenticeship Ambassador Network and a Board Member for Skills England – who’s challenged himself to visit all 9 AAN regions in the 5 days of National Apprenticeship Week 2026, meeting at least 100 small businesses! The session will openly address the challenges and opportunities for apprenticeships, what works best, and how together we can shape the future of apprenticeships for SMEs.
Invited and pre-registered guests, please head to the IoT using postcode ST16 2TB on Apple Maps, ST16 2EB on Google Maps or the What3Words Quest.still.fast Parking is available on site.
Please follow our social media channels where we will be sharing stories and events from around the region on the run up, and during National Apprenticeship Week 2026. Tag us in, or use #WMAAN #NAW2026
